Sant Antoni de Portmany (San Antonio) is not only the capital of Ibiza´s famous sunsets, but also the town, where the yin and yang of the island clash. The town centre and coastline is famous for its endless strip of bars and clubs, the so-called “West End”, whilst the surrounding landscape and bays offer a tranquil and peaceful ambience where you can wind down and reconnect with nature.

aubergine-ibiza-restaurant

Newly opened, Aubergine Ibiza is a good example of the flourishing in recent years in Ibiza of organic and ecological cuisine. This charming corner hidden in the Ibizan countryside, near Santa Gertrudis, has its own boutique and restaurant, all nestled in a traditional Ibizan ‘casa payesa’, a great way to get in touch with the rural side of Ibiza.

One of the main attractions of this charming place is its original food selection where you can find the most delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes made with fresh, seasonal produce along with some exceptions for meat lovers. An ideal place for those who truly enjoy healthy Mediterranean food and sympathize with the ‘slow’ movement.

At the foot of the romantic old town of San Miguel de Balansat in the north of the island you have a beautiful country restaurant, called “La Luna Nell’Orto”. It is situated in a carefully restored old farm house, preserving the rustic charm of the traditional Ibicencan architecture.  On their cosy terrace you can sit down unter a hundred year old figue tree to have lunch or dinner.

The tastefully decorated place is ideal for a romantic dinner full of typical Mediterranean flavours. Old fishermen neighbourhood right below Dalt Vila. Perfect for strolling around it’s streets and discover all kinds of attractive proposals, such as fashion, music, terrace cafés, restaurants, shops.

During the summer months it’s a place with lots of atmosphere, both by day and by night. But especially during the evening. You’ll immediately discover that it’s a very special place with a very attractive mix of “everything”… Very Ibiza style. A place with so many centuries of history and at the same time very modern and colourful mix of people all around. A spectacular and amazing contrast. A must at nighttime during the summer.
