Today we would like to bring a special post to our blog Villarentalibiza.com. It about one of the most special beaches we can enjoy here in Ibiza, Aguas Blancas Beach.

It is always surrounded by a wild sea breese. It’s certainly a mystical and very special beach.

Situated near the village of San Carlos (Sant Carles de Peralta), and to the north of the island of Ibiza. It is a long beach, about 300 meters. It is hidden behind steep cliffs that make it so unique. So the sun sets here earlier than other beaches, and you must take this into account.

Its real name is Paller de Camp. It’s a beach exposed to easterly winds (hence the name by which he is known, “White waters” for it produces white foam from the waves breaking against the sandy shore). In warmer times it is really appreciated.

Officially it is a nudist beach, but it is not an obligation. In Ibiza, everyone is free to enjoy the beaches as they wish and therefore you can find all different types of people, some nudists and others not.

From this beach you can enjoy wonderful views of Sa Punta Grossa and Tagomago Island.

Its seabed is similar to other beaches in Ibiza, with crystal clear water. It is ideal for children, as it gets deeper in a very smooth progress, little by little. However it doesn’t have the same fine sand as other beaches, here the sand is slightly denser and of a more tan colour.

Access to the beach is via a steep staircase, which is slightly difficult. For this reason it surely has helped to maintain the beach untouched and authentic.

Playa Aguas Blancas is greatly appreciated by the residents of the island. And certainly one of the reasons is that it is not one of the most crowded in the high season.

Throughout its 300meters of beach, you can always find large rocks half submerged in the sand, giving us the possibility of finding an incredible place to take the sun, and of course to enjoy something different.

To get there, you to San Carlos, then follow the signs to Cala San Vicente, after this it is well signposted.

As stated above, normal access to the beach has steps, and in some stretches, the slope is quite steep but halfway down these steps, you will find a beach bar “chiringuito”, where you can eat something simple and take some refreshment, if the steps become too much.

Playa Aguas Blancas is a must for anyone who wants to know the best coves and beaches of Ibiza.
