The coastline of San Jose, located in the south of the island, is one of the most beautiful you can find in Ibiza. With spectacular white sand beaches, magical islands, crystal clear waters, ideal for diving and snorkeling, great beach restaurants and breathtaking sunsets are just some of the attributes of this coastal area.

If we are looking to see cliffs the best you can do is to go in the direction of Es Cubells. A beautiful village with a church and a couple of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy some of the most beautiful views in the south coast of the island.It is an ideal place to contemplate the vastness of the Mediterranean Sea.

Not far away is Porroig, full of boat huts where once the fishermen kept their boats. Now it has become a place for nautical recreation. Very calm and relaxed, it is a small and beautiful bay.

Closer to San Antonio you will find Cala Comte (Cala Conta). Probably one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. With turquoise blue waters and white sand, from there you can spot rare islets. This area, which has three bays (two large and one small and nudist) has a beautiful sandstone wall and is ideal for watching the sunset, which is absolutely spectacular from this point of the island.

Also world famous is the beach of Ses Salines, located in the natural park of the same name, in the south of the island, near the airport. It is a long beach of white sand and clear water which is very shallow. A place which is frequented by celebrities, by modern people and has some of the most popular bars in Ibiza.

If we seek a magical place it is best to go to Cala d’Hort. A small sandy beach which has impressive views: the stunning island of Es Vedra. Majestic, and which is almost 400 meters high dominates this small beach with some of the best restaurants in this area, specialialites are the rice dishes.

Also on the coast of San José is Cala Jondal, a beautiful and unspoilt cove with sand and boulders that has become one of the most glamorous beaches of the island with restaurants and beach clubs. Frequented by numerous yachts, it has a spectacular setting, clean waters and great atmosphere.
