Summer has passed … Ibiza is now different, but not less attractive as it still has many options  to continue enjoying it . From our blog today,  Villa Rental Ibiza blog,  we will travel to the town of San Antonio ( Sant Antoni de Portmany ) to suggest some more interesting proposals .

1. Ses Variades with it’s sunsets. It obviously does not have the same atmosphere as the summer days, nevertheless it remains a place where you can still  enjoy the best sunsets in Ibiza and as an extra bonus you now also have the tranquility. A place to immortalize treasured photos.

2. San Antonio’s Church. You will find it midway on the  popular Carrer Ample. The temple dates from 1385, although it has undergone several renovations and extensions throughout its history,it exhibits a typical fortress, typical to the churches in Ibiza .( Stresses the square tower with loopholes and white lined courtyard walls and porches). Apart from the temple there are also some works of art that you can find inside ( e.g. altarpiece of San Roque , San Antonio size … ) .

3. Carrer Ample. The most commercialised street in San Antonio. Ideal for shopping and to have a relaxing drink in one of its appealing terraces. This street is full of life all year round.

4. Santa Inés and Sant Mateu. Two precious little Ibizian towns in the provence of  San Antonio . Amazing places to get to know and enjoy the real Ibiza, both towns are very rural and traditional. These places remain unchanged despite the passage of time, globalization and mass tourism.

5. Lookout of Cap Negret and sunset.
Another place to enjoy summer even out of season . With incredible and amazing views and sunsets, it is a place to “unwind ” from the world and maybe even fall in love..who knows!

6. Sa Cova winery.
One of the wineries which you can find today in Ibiza,  Bodega Sa Cova in Sant Mateu . It was the first winery in Ibiza and today Sa Cova produces about 25,000 bottles of wine from Ibiza and has capacity to produce up to 60,000 liters. It also has 10 hectares of vineyards ( Tempranillo , Monastrell , Syrah , Malvasia and Muscat ) . A very interesting visit where you will discover how wine is made in Ibiza .

Contact telephone Bodega , +34 971 18 70 46 .

7. Buscastell.
Another option we would like to put forward is a visit to Buscastell . It is a small but very endearing , authentic town . On Thursday nights, at the legendary bar Can Teixido , you can enjoy Jazz , plus delicious tapas to share. And on Saturday they have an interesting organic market which you can wander around.

8. Tapas San Antonio: Mesón Abad, Taste Gallery, Villa Manchega, Es verro
And of course … To continue on our tapas route in the same capital San Antonio. Here are some bars which are perfect to enjoy Spanish appetizers, they are Bar Abad , the Taste Gallery, Villa Manchega or Es Verro.
